As a working, pumping mom of five who recently returned from maternity leave with my fifth baby, I've become something of an expert in all things baby gear. From breast pumps to milk storage bags, bottle warmers to sterilizers—I've tried them ALL. Seriously. My kitchen cabinets are a museum of baby feeding equipment spanning multiple children and nearly a decade.
So when I heard about the Momcozy KleanPal Pro Bottle Washer, I was both skeptical and intrigued. Another baby gadget promising to save me time? I've heard that before! But with five kids and a full-time job, I'm constantly searching for anything that might make my daily pumping and feeding routine more manageable.
After my late night pump session left me with a sink full of parts (again) that I had to deal with when all I wanted was to go to bed, I finally decided to try the KleanPal Pro.
In this article Momcozy bottle washer review, I will share my personal opinion of the product after personal use and extensive testing in hopes that another expectant or new mom finds it helpful. Here's my brutally honest take.
What is the Momcozy KleanPal Pro Bottle Washer?
The Momcozy KleanPal Pro is an electric cleaning and sterilizing device designed to automate the tedious task of scrubbing baby bottles and pump parts. It's a unit that sits on the countertop to clean and disinfect bottles, flanges, valves, pacifiers, and all those other annoying little parts that collect milk residue.

Of course, I put all of these claims to the test to see if this bottle washer lived up to the hype—keep reading!
As someone who's used several other Momcozy products, I was curious to see how this compared to their other offerings.
First Impressions Of The Momcozy KLeanPal Pro Bottle Washer
Setting up the KleanPal Pro couldn't be simpler. Take it out of the box, plug the cord into the wall, plug the drain hose into the correct area on the back with the end of the hose in a sink, and you’re ready to go.
The device is white with green accents and looks sleek and modern. It does take up a decent amount of space on the countertop, but it’s similar in size to other bottle washers I’ve used, so that just comes with the territory.
The instruction manual is clear and concise, with helpful diagrams—no deciphering poorly translated instructions like some other baby products I've purchased.
What I found especially helpful are the pictures and descriptions of where and how to place various items to maximize cleaning effectiveness and space in the device. There are multiple pages showing pictures of how to load various items. This guidance was huge as I began using it on all sorts of different things I needed washed and sterilized.

My first impression was that the build quality immediately felt more substantial than I expected, and that the touchscreen panel was super easy to use. It comes with the Quick Start Guide directly above the controls, making it very easy to get started.
Key Features and Functionality of the Momcozy KleanPal Pro
After washing about five million bottles and pump parts over the years (only a slight exaggeration) using a variety of methods, here's what stands out about the KleanPal Pro:
I was able to clean and sterilize a large variety of items using this device, including bottles, pump parts from two different types of pumps, my haaka milk catcher, pacifiers, and sippy cups. All were complete clean and dry by the end of the cycles.
It cleans extremely effectively. In one of my tests, I tried a breastmilk storage bottle that had been sitting in the fridge for about 72 hours, and some of the milk had separated and attached to the bottle, leaving a thick residue. After storing the milk, I purposely didn’t rinse the bottle out to see whether all of the residue would be removed during cleaning. This bottle washer cleaned it perfectly.
The sound while the device is cleaning is similar to my dishwasher. It’s not silent, and you definitely can tell that it’s running, but it’s not obnoxious.
You must fill the water tank with 2.5L of water before each wash cycle. During and after use, the water will automatically drain out of the drain hole and into the sink.
The instruction manual recommends using purified or distilled water, however, as it takes 2.5L of water and I personally don’t have daily access to that much distilled water, I simply used tap water. It works just fine.
You must use one Momcozy Washing Detergent Tablet per cycle, which is a small white tablet that you toss into the main compartment. A quantity of 60 comes with the bottle washer in the box, and then more can be purchased separately. I found them here on Amazon.
How Many BOttles Can Fit in The Momcozy Bottle Washer?
This is an incredibly important question and one of the biggest I personally had before using this thing. The answer to that question, like many others, is it depends. In this case, it depends on what else you might want to wash with the bottles.
There are dedicated areas for washing 4 bottles at one time. I tested two different bottle brands and two different brands and shapes of sippy cups in these slots, and it worked for all of them, so it seems to work universally with just about any brand of bottles.
For me, though, my biggest pain point with being a full time working and pumping mom is washing my breast pump parts each day. More so than even bottles, getting into each small crevice for all my pump parts takes a lot of time. So while I certainly use my bottle washer for washing bottles, I also want to fit pump parts in there.
If you want to fit all of your pump parts, you won’t be able to fit in 4 bottles in the same cycle.

Overall, without any pump parts, it can definitely fit 4 bottles (any brand) and all the nipples without issue along with some smaller items such as pacifiers or teethers.
With all pump parts being washed, at least for the three pump brands I’ve tried, it can still fit 2-3 bottles along with all of the pump parts.
So, like I said, it depends. I will always prioritize using my Momcozy bottle washer for pump parts because of the immense dread I feel about washing them by and the time it takes to get into all of the crevices. But, I found a new routine to automatically clean everything I need to each day using this device (more on that below).
Performance Test: How Well Does It Actually Clean?
Here's where we get to the heart of the matter. As a mom who pumps three times during my workday, plus deals with bottles from daycare and my toddler’s sippy cups and pacifiers, I've encountered every possible cleaning scenario. I put the KleanPal Pro through rigorous testing on both the Rapid cycle (19 minutes) and the Normal wash cycle (29 minutes). I also played around with including the 10 minute Sterilization cycle at the end of the wash cycle.
Here is how it performed on a variety of different items I needed washed:
Small Pump Part Crevices: Let's start with the daily challenge—cleaning pump parts after a day of expressing milk to get all of the little bits of milk out of the tiny crevices. Using a bottle brush and then a smaller bottle brush for this gets exhausting. With both the Rapid cycle as well as the normal wash cycle + Sterilization, I felt confident that my parts were fully disinfected and ready to go. I saw zero residue or film left on my pump parts or in those hard-to-reach crevices.
Breastmilk Residue: Even when I purposely left 3-day old breastmilk residue on the inside of bottles, they still came out perfectly clean.
Pacifiers and Sippy Cups: I tested this on my toddler's sippy cups with impressive results. I purposely left some unknown crust on his pacifier when I put it in to be washed, and it came out clean.
Of course, I don’t have the ability to conduct a scientific experiment to test the claim that it kills 99% of germs. That being said, everything coming out of it, whether I ran the Rapid cycle or the normal wash cycle, looked perfectly clean, and my observations of the wash cycle and steam gave me full confidence that my bottles and items were being sterilized.
Practical Daily Use for Parents
Where this device has truly impacted my life is in my evening bottle washing (after daycare) routine and my nighttime pump parts washing routine.
Before the KleanPal Pro, for our daily daycare bottles (usually 3 bottles), I would either:
Hand wash all bottles in the evening so that I could fill them up with milk that night so that I can have them filled, labelled, and ready to go the next morning for an easier morning
Put bottles in the dishwasher overnight, which means I have to scramble to fill them, label them, and pack them the next morning…plus deal with the overly cramped dishwasher situation with a family of 7
Keep multiple sets of clean bottles ready to go
And here’s what my nightly pump parts washing routine looked like before the Momcozy bottle washer:
After my final pump of the evening (~9pm), hand wash all pump parts (8-9 minutes) while hating every second of it, and let them air dry overnight on a drying rack on my kitchen counter
One of my three pumps have dishwasher-safe parts, so I can use the dishwasher to wash if I have enough room left
Now, here’s my new routine:
After we get home from daycare pickup, immediately put the bottles in the KleanPal Pro and run a wash & sterilize cycle
Fill clean bottles with fresh milk for the next day, label them, and put them in the fridge so they’re ready to go for tomorrow
After my final 9pm pump, put all pump parts into the KleanPal Pro and run a wash & sterilize cycle, plus throw in any pacifiers, teethers, etc that are lying around and need cleaning. Leave everything in there overnight where it’s stored safely, and grab pump parts the next morning to take to work.
Instead of spending 8-9 minutes scrubbing pump parts each night (which is literally my least favorite task of all of parenthood) hoping I got into all of the crevices, and then leaving them to sit on my kitchen counter all night, my new routine is SO. MUCH. BETTER.
Loading the Momcozy bottle washer and starting it takes less than a minute, and really I appreciate knowing that the parts will be not only washed but also sterilized and stored safely rather than exposed to the air (and 5 kids worth of germs) in my kitchen.
Those saved minutes and annoyance might not seem like much, but when you're doing this multiple times a day, every day... it adds up to hours each week!
Pros and Cons of the Momcozy KleanPal Pro Bottle Washer

The Momcozy KleanPal Pro bottle washer requires 2.5L of water for each “load”. The instruction manual recommends using purified or distilled water. I simply used water from my tap, and it works just fine.

Yes, the Momcozy baby bottle washer is also a sterilizer. That will depend on which cycles you select, plus which options you choose to add on:

Steam option can be added on to either the normal or the rapid cycle and takes 10 minutes
Storage option can be added on after any wash cycle and takes 60 minutes (end result is that everything is completely dry)
The beauty is that once you load everything in and start, you don’t have to touch it again.

Is the Momcozy KleanPal Pro suitable for all bottle types?
I've tested it on two of the most popular baby bottle brands, which I happened to have in my house (Tommee Tippee wide neck bottles as well as Philips Avent standard bottles) plus on the breastmilk storage bottles from the Momcozy portable breast milk cooler. Additionally, I tested it on two different brands of sippy cups that my toddler uses. All of these different shapes and sizes fit.
Can the Momcozy KleanPal Pro clean other baby items?
Absolutely! Beyond bottles, I’ve also used it on pump parts, sippy cups, pacifiers, my haakaa, and teethers.
How does the Momcozy KleanPal Pro compare to the Baby Brezza bottle washer?
The Baby Brezza bottle washer has wheels on the bottom, which make it slightly easier to move around on your countertop. That said, I keep my bottle washer in one place next to my sink, so that’s not an issue for me.
The other key difference is in the draining situation. The Momcozy has a drain pipe that drains directly from the device into the sink, whereas the Baby Brezza has an onboard drain tank that must be manually emptied.
